Objectives and topics

Smart farming, an evolution of agriculture, leverages modern computational technologies to increase agricultural productivity, sustainability, and overall efficiency. By integrating cutting-edge computer science techniques with traditional farming practices, smart farming endeavors to optimize the agricultural process from soil preparation to harvest while minimizing environmental impacts. The SF 2024 Special Session at the 16th International Conference on Computational Collective Intelligence (ICCCI 2024) is devoted to new technologies in the agriculture sector addressing computer vision, precision farming, automation and robotics, remote sensing, agricultural data management and much more .
